Gauchito Querido is an intimate documentation of a journey along the Argentine roads in search of Gauchito Gil.
47 documented locations and 1,133 kilometers of devotion and travel trace the route, accompanied by a visual scale that guides the progress of the journey.
The publication recreates the pilgrimage to Mercedes, Corrientes, the birthplace of the popular saint and home to his main sanctuary. In total, 47 locations are portrayed, each introduced with a fragment of poetic prose. A sidebar runs along the pages indicating the accumulated kilometers throughout the route.
