Estamos Bien-La Trienal 20/21 features the work of the fourty-two participating artists and collectives included in the highly-anticipated survey exhibition organized by El Museo del Barrio. The result of two years of research, this project is the Museum’s first nation-wide exhibition and publication exploring the diverse landscape of contemporary Latinx artists working in the United States and Puerto Rico. The volumen includes a curatorial essay by the curators, a conversation between some of the artists conducted by artista Elia Alba as part of her Supper Club series and illustrated, individual short interviews with the participants.
In the back pages, a reader brings together poems of essays by Lourdes Alberto, Adriana Brown, Karla Kornejo Villavicencio, Deborah Cullen and Carolina Ponce de León, Esteban Jefferson, Ed Morales, Alan Pelaez Lopez, Dixa Ramírez d’Oleo, Rose Salseda and Adriana Zavala.
