Half a century after the publication of his first photobook Para verte mejor, América Latina, Paolo Gasparini publishes Fotollavero Mexicano, a book that covers, as if looking through a backmirror, his vision on Mexico. With images taken between 1970 and 2020 and Juan Villoro’s words, this narrative brings a multitude of ideas and meanings while César Jara’s design facilitates the simultaenous reading of both photographs and text.
