Catalog-book published to accompany the major exhibition Marta Palau, My Paths Are Earthly, organized by MUAC (UNAM) and the Tàpies museum.

By establishing themes such as exile, the body, magic, Latin America, and migration, it offers an alternative perspective to the usual chronological-biographical narratives that have defined her publications and exhibitions previously.

Palau exhibited widely in Mexico, Latin America, the U.S., and Europe. Her work remains a vital reference in the history of feminist and decolonial art.

Palau worked in a multitude of media, from printmaking and painting to sculpture, ceramics, and installation, but her work is mainly recognized as pioneering textile sculpture in Latin America. Her interest in the materiality of natural fibers and the realms of both Indigenous and European magic stands out, as well as her anti-colonial orientation.
